The KPPA's "Kampot Pepper" seal guarantees the high quality of original Kampot pepper which is being grown in Kampot province (and the neighboring small province of Kep) just like hundreds of years ago.
In 2016, Kampot pepper was added to the EU's register of protected designations of origin. The "protected geographical indication (PGI)" seal guarantees the correct geographical origin and compliance with specified rules throughout the entire production process.
